The Walloon Lake Association and Conservancy invites members and the broader community to join us for The State of the Lake: WLAC’s Annual Meeting on Wednesday, August 19, 2026. This annual gathering is an opportunity to hear about the progress we’ve made over the past year, learn about emerging issues affecting the Walloon Lake watershed, and connect with fellow members who share a commitment to protecting this special place.

The State of the Lake: WLAC’s Annual Meeting

During the meeting, you’ll hear updates on WLAC’s conservation, stewardship, and water quality initiatives, along with a special keynote presentation from staff at the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE) highlighting important issues and opportunities facing the Walloon Lake watershed.
The meeting will also include the annual election of the Board of Trustees, followed by a complimentary cocktail hour where members can connect with one another and celebrate another year of conservation success.
Whether you’ve been a member for decades or recently joined WLAC, we hope you’ll attend to learn what’s ahead and help shape the future of our organization.

Unable to Attend? Vote by Proxy
Members who are unable to attend the Annual Meeting may still participate in the election of Trustees by submitting a proxy vote in advance.
Advance proxy votes must be received by 12:00 p.m. EDT on Wednesday, August 19, 2026.
Proxy votes may be submitted in one of three ways:

Voting online is the quickest and easiest option for members who cannot attend in person.
