Postle Farm Preserve

Year Established

2006

Size

113 acres

Bio

The Postle family bought the original 40-acre farm from the Wallace Padgett family in 1970 and added adjacent acreage through the years. The Postles used the property for recreation, and a few Sierra Club enthusiasts did some of the earliest cross-county skiing in Northern Michigan here in 1972. Long views of open meadow and woodland, wetland exploration, stream crossings, and perhaps an owl sighting await you.
