The Walloon Lake Trust and Conservancy (WLTC) owns several Preserves with hiking trails.  These lands were donated and purchased to protect the natural integrity of the Walloon Lake watershed.  To maintain a balance between the plants and animals that live in the Preserves and those who use them for educational, scientific and recreational uses, we ask that you follow the Preserve Guidelines:

Preserves Guidelines

Signs with specific WLTC Guidelines are posted at the entrances to each Preserve.

Please enjoy: Hiking, bird watching, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, trail running, yoga and other minimal impact activities.

Please refrain from: Snowmobiling, camping, fires, dumping or littering, removal of vegetation and use of off road vehicles.

Hunting is only permitted on designated Preserves. WLTC requires written permission, so please call the office (347-0100) for more information.
