WALLOON LAKE ASSOCIATION 2010 EDUCATION PROGRAMS

During the summer of 2010, the Walloon Lake Association Education Committee has planned monthly presentations that will interest Association members.  Two Programs are currently scheduled, with a third Presentation to be announced in the May Wallooner.

Brian Mastenbrook - June 16th   2 PM   Walloon Lake Country Club

Brian Mastenbrook, from the Gaylord MDNRE Operations Center, will provide a slide show on animals, birds of prey and fish that are in the area, and will answer questions from the audience.

Cross Village Rug Works - July 14th   2 PM   Walloon Lake Country Club

Cross Village Rug Works will share the story of how a cottage industry, based on local wool production and rug weaving, is being nurtured in Cross Village to create a self-sustaining artisan community.
